BlueSun Advisor & RepVision Outage Update #1

Update #1 as of February 19 @ 8:00am

Since Wednesday, February 17th at approximately 10:30am, WealthServ backoffice systems including BlueSun Advisor and RepVision have experienced an outage. This is industry wide affecting both carriers and distributers. iPipeline and their global teams are working around the clock to get all systems up and running with 100% of their focus on service recovery.

What happened?

We have been reassured that the network outage was not a result of a cyberattack. The outage is a result of a hardware failure in the Markham location. A main component failed and a disaster recovery plan was immediately put in place to restore and divert service and recovery in the Ottawa location.

How does this affect you?

Our offices will continue to process your paper and eApp business but you will not have access to BlueSun Advisor or RepVision until the system is restored. iPipeline and their senior management teams are aware of the importance and consequences of this delay. BridgeForce management and office leaders were on scheduled industry calls as late as 11 pm last night. We will continue to communicate with you on any updates as they occur.

What’s next?

To ensure data integrity, iPipeline will be restoring service initially to the backoffice systems, WealthServ Insurance and WealthServ Investments. Access to BlueSun Advisor and RepVision will be provided at a later date.
