Information Circular 2013-16: Premium re-rate for APPL 2
We are now approaching a re-rate point for the APPL 2 plan (sold from August 1983 to April 1984). The results of our review shows the following trends:
- The deterioration of investment yields on fixed income securities will require an increase in premium at this time
- Favourable mortality trends partially offset this increase

Information Circular 2013-14: Class Plus Deposit Changes
Empire Life is closing Class Plus to lump-sum deposits on Friday, June 28 at 4:00 p.m. ET. There are also changes to Pre-Authorized Deposit Plans (PADs). This change does not apply to Class Plus 2.

We have updated our Life and Health Insurance Application (D-0082) and Single Life Term Insurance Application (D-0024).
Fund Facts and Highlights updates
Updated Fund Facts (INP-0100) are now available online and for order. The financial information is taken from the audited financial statements for the Segregated Funds as of December 31, 2012.
The Fund Facts form part of the Information Folder and must be given to prospective clients at the time of application.
The updated Option Plus Group RSP Segregated Fund Highlights (GP-0039) are now available online and for order.
