CPP | Product Enhancements Effective July 2, 2013

On July 2, 2013, Canada Protection Plan is introducing the next generation of our products.

Key changes and enhancements to Canada Protection Plan’s products include:

• The maximum combined coverage will increase from $225,000 to $300,000
• Our new height and weight chart will be more lenient
• Simplified Life Plus policy will now be available to smokers
• PAC will be available on any day of the month (1st to the 28th)
• A quarter of our rates stayed the same or decreased
• Stay tuned for our new simplified e-application system

To help make these changes more seamless for you, Canada Protection Plan’s application forms, Rate Sheet, Product and Underwriting Guide and marketing materials have been updated. They are also available online.

Remember: you also need to download and install the new Illustration Software and start using it as of July 2, 2013.
