Foresters Insurance | A Guide to the Easylife
Over the next few weeks, we will be sending you a series of emails with helpful information about our new par life insurance product, Easylife.
One of the most exciting features of ForestersTM new par life insurance product, Easylife1, is the ability to securely submit application information online.
This feature allows us to shave weeks off the time it takes to settle an application.
To create Easylife applications electronically and submit the information online, you will first need to log into the Easylife section of our new illustration software, Sky. This email will guide you through the login process and provide helpful tips on how to customize Sky’s settings.
If you have not done so already, click here to download Sky. Please note, Windows Vista and Windows 7 have administrative rights that may block an application from initially running. Click here for a helpful PDF on how to run Sky as an administrator if the software does not start right away or you see the message “Sky application is currently running”.
After Sky has been installed, double click on the Sky icon to launch the software. Select “Easylife” from the “Select a Product” drop-down menu on the main screen.
You will now see a “Login” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click on this button to launch a new window where you can enter your “Userid” and “Password”. Your Easylife login information is your user name and password for Foresters broker portal, ezbiz. If you do not remember your ezbiz login information, please call us at 800 267 8777 and we will be happy to assist you.
Sky also gives you the option to customize your personal settings. First select “Settings” from the “Options” pull-down menu at the top of the screen. You can enter information such as your name, address, phone and fax number. Sky will use this information to customize the illustrations you print off for any of our products. You will be able to hand your client an illustration with a personalized cover page with all your contact information.
Sky will also use the information you entered to add your name and broker code to the bottom of the Easylife applications you print off for your clients to sign. Remember, one copy of the signed application and the Easylife certificate are left with the client. A second copy of the signed application must be sent to us. If sending by fax, please use fax number 866 271 6215.
