Upcoming Vital Link Rate Changes
We will be implementing some pricing changes for all three of our Vital Link critical illness plans. These changes will come into effect July 5, 2014, and they are being implemented to provide you with competitively priced critical illness products and to address the current market situation of a sustained low interest rate environment.
Highlights include:
- Rate decreases for most ages for Vital Link 10
- Rate increases and decreases for Vital Link 75
- Rate increases for most ages for Vital Link 100
- New commission structure for new Vital Link plans
Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL) will come into effect on July 1, 2014. This new law will impact how advisors communicate with potential and existing clients.
CASL prohibits anyone from sending, causing, or permitting the sending of a Commercial electronic message (CEM), unless the sender has the recipient’s implied or express consent or the message qualifies for exemption.
