Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation – What it means for advisors

(CE credits available)

New anti-spam legislation is being introduced on July 1, 2014. This legislation will have an impact on Canadians; in particular, it will affect how and when advisors are permitted to send electronic messages to clients and prospects. Join us for an informative session where we’ll provide an overview of the new legislation, it’s relevance to you and the impact on your business.

By attending this webinar, you will learn about:

  • What makes a message a “commercial electronic message” or spam
  • How the new anti-spam legislation affects your business
  • Exemption rules, implied consent and how to comply

Live sessions are being offered on the following dates:
June 19 – 1 – 2 p.m. EDT – Visit Repsource to register
June 25 – 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Visit Repsource to register

A self-serve version will be available in English and French on July 1 in the CE Centre (from the CE Centre tab in the centre menu on the Repsource homepage, select CE Centre > Doing Business > Compliance).
