Canada’s new anti-spam legislation (known as CASL) will come into force on July 1, 2014 and will affect anyone who uses email as a marketing tool. The law applies broadly and not just to what would normally be regarded as “spam”. It is one of the strictest anti-spam laws in the world and carries stiff monetary penalties. In this session, you will learn how CASL impacts you and your business, what the law requires, and the best practices that you and your organization should follow in order to be compliant under CASL.
