Non-face to face applications

Empire Life does not accept paper applications written on a non-face to face basis. We recognize that in some situations it is difficult to meet the client in person, and so we have introduced the Fast & Full™ application process, and this can be used for term non-face to face sales.

Change to contracting requirements

We are pleased to announce that we are changing our contracting requirements to make it easier for you to do business with us.

We no longer require the original paper contracting documents to be sent by mail. Instead, you may email completed contracting documents to contracting@empire.ca.

Empire Life reports record earnings for 2013

We released our 2013 year-end financial results. We achieved a record level of earnings with an overall shareholders’ net income of $113.3 million compared to $80.2 million in 2012. Results in the Individual Insurance and Wealth Management business lines improved significantly over 2012.

New Customizable Inheritance Option

We launched an Annuity Settlement Option which offers a no-cost way to tailor how the proceeds of insurance policies are paid out to beneficiaries by allowing customers to choose either a series of guaranteed regular payments or an upfront initial payment with the balance in guaranteed regular payments.
