BlackBerry is facing major competition in India from Samsung — a sign the Canadian company might have similar problems in other emerging markets, reports The Globe and Mail.

BlackBerry shipments in India dropped to 5.9% in 2012, from 12.8% 2010, finds global research firm IDC. Meanwhile, Samsung soared from 4.9% in 2010 to 42.5% in 2012.
